Turkey Brine
Ingredients
| Ingredient | Amount |

| Water | 1 gallon |
| Kosher salt | 1 cup |
| Sugar | 1/2 cup |
| Tarragon | 1 bunch |
| Parsley | 1 bunch |
| Bay leaves | 2 |
| Garlic | 1 head, halved horizontally |
| Onion | 1, sliced |
| Black peppercorns | 3 tablespoons, lightly crushed |
| Lemons | 2, halved |
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a pot.
- Bring to a simmer and stir until salt and sugar is dissolved.
- Cool before adding turkey.
